General information

Any access or use of Curio or www.curio.com.au signifies your consent to the following terms and conditions. 

Payments and Charges

We accept major credit cards (American Express, Visa, and MasterCard) as payment and PayPal. **Please note: Registration with PayPal is NOT required**. Orders from USA are subject to state and/or local sales tax where applicable. All orders from Canada are subject to GST (5% tax) charges. Curio reserves the right to amend prices on the site at any time. From time to time, despite our endeavor to maintain accurate and correct pricing on the website, there may be mistake(s). If there is a mistake, you will be notified via email before the product(s) are dispatched to you. Shipping charges are not included in the price of the product. Shipping charges are determined by the size of your order in total weight and taxes on shipping in accordance with State policies.

Order Processing

Curio will process your online order within 24-48 hours of receiving your request on weekdays.

The order acceptance will be when the funds have been received and the product(s) have been dispatched to you. In some cases when items of heavy weight or irregular size are ordered, additional shipping charges may apply. In these cases, customers will be notified via email and asked to pay additional shipping and handling charges.

For all international shipping (outside Australia), import duties and/or taxes may apply. Curio is not responsible for any charges that are incurred from customs/duties. Please contact your local customs office for information on custom and excise policies in your country.

Curio ships all orders via Australia Post and Fed Ex for international orders. Your shipping options and cost will be outlined at the time of checkout. You may track your order via the USPS website after your order has shipped. Upon shipping you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your order.

Returns and Exchanges

Should you wish to return your item(s) for a refund, email us at customercare@curio.com.au

Goods must be returned within 14 days of the original order date and must arrive unworn, unused and in their original condition (tags attached and original packaging) to be eligible for a refund. Once received and inspected, we will notify you if you are eligible for a refund, exchange or credit note. Please note that sale Items and original shipping costs are not eligible for a refund.

For customers in Australia, return shipping is free. We'll send a return shipping label to you via email, which you can print and attach to your package. 

Upon receipt and inspection at our warehouse, a refund will be processed within 7 business days and you will be notified via email. Please allow up to an additional 3 business days for the refund to post to your account after it has been processed at our warehouse. 

Lost or Damaged Items

Curio shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages done by any of the services we provide. All items are purchased at your own risk. Any damage caused from shipping is to be taken up by you with the shipping company. Curio will provide you with the tracking number and contact information for the shipping company as needed. Once this information is provided to you, it is your responsibility as the customer to contact and deal with the shipping company. Please note that international orders may be shipped via regular airmail and often do not come with a tracking number. We do not assume any responsibility for lost packages.
